14th Sept 2003: As part of the 2003 Thames Festival, a 'Sing for Water' event was organised by Helen Chadwick to raise money for Water Aid.

On a lovely sunny day, 450 singers came from all over the UK, and from France and Sardinia to sing together. Juliet Stevenson and Simon Hughes introduced. About £20,000 was raised by the choirs and the public for Water Aid projects.

Lin Anderson, who has a keen interest in the type of work done by WaterAid, was involved in fundraising, singing in the mass choir with the Sedenka choir from Edinburgh.
