21st Aug 2003: The fifth event of the Ottakar's DRIFTNET launch 'tour' was at their Glasgow branch at Buchanan Galleries.

Lin Anderson read from DRIFTNET, introducing her character Rhona MacLeod, then took questions..

With DRIFTNET set mostly in Glasgow, Lin was on Rhona's home territory, and it wasn't long before Scotland's east-west rivalry in terms of crime fiction settings was being discussed. Lin was asked to comment on the suitability of the story for adaptation as a movie or television series, and there was the inevitable debate about which actress could best play Rhona MacLeod.
